There is a farmhouse on the Gettysburg battlefield that is called a “witness farmhouse.” The term is used to identify inanimate objects that were in the midst of history. Now if those walls could talk!
I like that you are getting out and enjoying your retirement time. We head up to Stowe at the end of the week for our timeshare week. Looking for covered bridges and barns among other things.
I do enjoy the macro look you got in those first three shots.
