{"id":625,"date":"2011-08-06T18:00:58","date_gmt":"2011-08-06T22:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gorga.org\/blog\/?p=625"},"modified":"2011-08-06T13:00:33","modified_gmt":"2011-08-06T17:00:33","slug":"a-stolen-hour-at-bass-farm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gorga.org\/blog\/?p=625","title":{"rendered":"A &#8220;Stolen&#8221; Hour at Bass Farm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, I &#8220;stole&#8221; an hour\u00a0a midst the wedding\u00a0preparations\u00a0to wander the meadow and pond\u00a0at the Bass Farm.<\/p>\n<p>There were many male common white-tails\u00a0patrolling\u00a0territories along the shore of the pond and, although I spent quite some time stalking them, I did not get even a single shot of them. I also saw a small number of spreadwings along the pond.<\/p>\n<p>There where large numbers of a small very nondescript brown dragonfly (which I have not had time to identify) \u00a0in the meadow grasses. There were also many pollinators (mostly bees but also some butterflies) among the wild flowers in the meadow.
